This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Welcome, n00b! Welcome to the wide, wonderful world of deviantART!
Now, with a population of over 1.1 million deviants, and with well over eight million submissions to sort through, this big place can be quite a conundrum to navigate. Allow me to point out some very useful places:
The FAQ. Any questions you have will most likely be found here in our searchable list of frequently asked questions.
The Etiquette Policy, which lists the most basic do's and don'ts of deviantART. It's less explicit than the FAQ, but by far a quicker read.
The Help Forum, where you can ask questions and receive answers not found in the Etiquette Policies or the FAQ.
The Welcome Forum -- go on, let everybody know you've arrived! This is the number one place for new deviants to announce themselves and make some quick friends.
And last but certainly not least, the Random Deviation | Random Deviant tools, which randomly choose a deviation or deviant for you to meet and greet. It's a great way to make friends and find all-but-unknown pieces of fantastic art.
And that's just the beginning of a whole load of neat features deviantART offers. Don't hesitate to make great use of your space and time here!
And don't hesitate to ask if you've got questions.
This has been your unofficial welcome to deviantART. Please enjoy your stay, and remember to play nice with the other kiddies
